Day & Night Adecco is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to hire a Utilities Supervisor to lead maintenance and utilities operations while keeping production running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is a hands-on leadership role — approximately 25-30% technical/maintenance work and 70-75% team supervision, coaching and development.What You'll Do:
- Lead, train and develop the maintenance/utilities team
- Oversee daily maintenance activities, equipment readiness and production support
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment and utility systems
- Support ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, steam, HVAC, pumps, motors and PLCs
- Manage ammonia system inspections and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
- Partner with Production, Quality and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Drive preventive/condition-based maintenance and continuous improvement
- Maintain strong food safety, GMP, environmental and safety standards
- Manage maintenance inventory, critical spare parts and department costs
What We're Looking For:
- Strong maintenance/utilities leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration strongly preferred
- Experience leading and developing a maintenance team
- Food manufacturing/processing experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety, food safety and regulatory compliance
