Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Managers to join our teams at multiple apartment communities across Maryland and Virginia. Ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations. This includes leading the maintenance department, ensuring resident satisfaction, coordinating team schedules, and maintaining the physical condition of the property to the highest standards. Depending on location and title, these positions are currently eligible for quarterly nondiscretionary bonuses up to 10% of their salary, annually.
Your Responsibilities:
Prioritizes and assigns maintenance requests, coordinating staff schedules. Manages inventory, purchasing, and budget control for maintenance materials. Maintains accurate maintenance records, logs, and preventative maintenance schedules. Conducts daily inspections, performs proactive repairs, and responds to resident maintenance requests. Oversees move-ins, move-outs, and contract maintenance services. Complete other duties as assigned or requested.
What you offer:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for daily onsite use. Minimum of 18 months experience in apartment maintenance. CFC Type II or Universal Certification and heat pump experience preferred. Must be available for after-hours emergency maintenance calls, including nights and weekends. Basic computer skills required.
