Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities at Gielow Pickles to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems. This role leads the maintenance team, prioritizes preventive and corrective maintenance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maintain food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians and contractors Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment, utilities, refrigeration, brining systems, and facility infrastructure Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards Coordinate maintenance activities with production to meet operational goals Manage maintenance work orders, parts inventory, and documentation Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives Ensure proper lockout/tagout and safety procedures are followed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food processing preferred) Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance systems Familiarity with PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors, and refrigeration systems a plus Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to wet areas, temperature variations, and machinery Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for growth and advancement

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
