Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Snow Shoveling Removal Crew Lead and take charge of ensuring safe, clear, and accessible outdoor spaces during winter months. In this vital role, you will oversee snow and ice removal operations, lead a dedicated crew, and coordinate efforts to maintain optimal safety and appearance across various properties. Your leadership will help us deliver reliable winter maintenance services that keep communities moving smoothly through challenging weather conditions. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of snow removal technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient completion of all snow and ice management activities Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as plow trucks, snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders safely and effectively Coordinate daily snow removal schedules, monitor weather conditions, and adjust plans proactively to meet operational needs Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols, proper equipment use, and company policies during outdoor winter work Oversee the application of de-icing materials to prevent hazardous icy conditions on walkways, driveways, and parking lots Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met and properties are left safe and presentable Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and materials applied for reporting purposes Skills Proven experience in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping during winter seasons Strong leadership abilities with prior supervising or crew management experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping projects Knowledge of hardscaping construction projects, irrigation systems, plant identification, and horticulture principles is a plus Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment including company vehicles safely and efficiently Ability to identify hazards related to snow and ice conditions and respond swiftly with appropriate solutions Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and property managers effectively Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor tasks in cold weather conditions while maintaining attention to safety standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to lead a team in delivering top-quality winter maintenance services.
