We are willing to train the right person or will hire the person that can mentor others. Journeyperson (Tool and Die Maker or Machinist) level preferred. As the supervisor, your will need the following skills: Required Competencies, Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, plastic injection molding required. Must have prior mold making experience. Excellent organizational skills. Must have 5 to 10 years of supervisory and/or management experience. Must be able to read machine dial gauges, blueprints and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts. Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action. Machining capability including, but not limited to lathe, CNC, EDM, drill press, griding, sawing, and polishing tight tolerance steel. Computer skills including ERP and MS Office proficiency. Education and Job Experience Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred. 2 or 4 year degree or Journeyman's certification. Successful completion of trade school and/or apprenticeship program. Available to training in new equipment and machinery as they are procured. Keeping education and background up to current industry standards through willingness to attend seminars, read periodicals and seek advanced education.
