Crew Leader 131 Landscaping Maple Heights, OH Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Property maintenance Driver's License Manual handling Crew management Full Job Description 131 Landscaping is hiring a full-time Landscape & Lawn Care Crew Leader for the remainder of the 2026 season, with opportunities for winter snow removal and continued employment next season. 131 Landscaping is a locally owned and growing landscaping company serving Northeast Ohio. We are looking for a reliable, experienced individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is capable of taking on responsibility in the field. This is a working crew leader position. You will work alongside other crew members performing lawn maintenance and landscape projects while helping maintain quality, productivity, and organization throughout the workday. The ideal candidate has previous professional lawn care or landscaping experience, a good driving record, and is comfortable operating commercial lawn equipment and driving a pickup truck with a trailer.

Season:

March through November, with opportunities for commercial snow removal and other winter work

Typical Schedule:

Monday through Friday, approximately 40-50 hours per week

Starting Pay:

$20-$23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Location:

Report to Maple Heights, Ohio Job Responsibilities Work varies throughout the season and may include: Driving company trucks and trailers between properties and job sites Working alongside and helping lead other crew members Mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, and general property maintenance Maintaining consistent quality and productivity throughout a lawn-maintenance route Spring and fall cleanups Weeding and landscape-bed maintenance Shrub and ornamental pruning Mulch and landscape-material installation Planting and removing shrubs and other landscape plants Turf renovation, seeding, and lawn repair Landscape installations and small hardscape projects Loading and unloading tools and materials Maintaining clean and organized trucks, trailers, and equipment Safely operating professional landscaping equipment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can become a dependable leader within our field operations.

Experience operating commercial zero-turn, stand-on, or similar mowing equipment is a plus. Experience driving a pickup truck with an enclosed, open, or dump trailer is also highly desirable. Applicant Requirements Valid Ohio driver's license Driving record acceptable to our commercial auto insurance carrier Reliable transportation to our Maple Heights location Authorization to work in the United States Dependable attendance Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds Ability to perform physical outdoor work for extended periods Willingness to work outdoors in varying seasonal conditions Winter Snow Removal Opportunity We also have an opening for a snow-plow driver for the upcoming winter season. Applicants interested in winter work may have the opportunity to operate a company plow truck servicing commercial properties during snow events. Previous plowing experience is preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate. A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier are required.
