About the Role As a Lead Facility Mechanic supporting our premier health care client within a union environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, high-functioning environment where critical patient care happens every day. In this position, you will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical oversight, ensuring that all facility operations meet rigorous health care standards. While you will enjoy a predictable weekday schedule, you will also participate in an on-call rotation, providing you with opportunities to demonstrate your leadership and problem-solving skills when urgent matters arise. What You'll Do Partner with internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts. Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas. This includes HVAC units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, etc. Review and assign work orders to team members. Directly complete ongoing preventive and repairs as needed. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts. Report on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Complete Hazard Assessments. Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. Have broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with

values Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. What You'll Need High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Driver's license required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals. Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the maintenance industry. Why CBRE?
