Position Summary Combined Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate all maintenance activities supporting manufacturing operations and facility upkeep. This position is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving preventive maintenance efforts while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems) along with proven leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Operations & Equipment Reliability Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities are functioning properly Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for production and facility equipment Troubleshoot and coordinate repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems Support installation, start-up, and optimization of new or relocated equipment Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facility infrastructure to identify and address maintenance needs Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability Supervision & Team Leadership Supervise, schedule, and assign work to maintenance technicians and support staff Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel to ensure high performance and skill development Promote accountability, efficiency, and adherence to maintenance standards within the team Assist in workforce planning, including staffing, overtime, and resource allocation Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety standards Develop, implement, and maintain lockout/tagout procedures for all applicable equipment Enforce safety protocols and promote a proactive safety culture Report and address safety hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly Inventory, Planning & Documentation Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, and supplies; coordinate purchasing as needed Track and document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history Develop maintenance schedules, project plans, and timelines to meet operational demands Ensure proper documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance, and compliance records Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external service providers for specialized repairs and projects Work closely with production, quality, and management teams to align maintenance priorities with operational goals Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and minimize downtime Qualifications Strong handeye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy. Comfortable working with small or detailed components. Ability to stay focused and productive in a highvolume environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to sit or remain in a stationary position for extended periods, depending on the task. Preferred Experience but Not Required Prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Technician Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment Technical certification, vocational training, or trade schooling Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Requirements- Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
