West Fraser is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team supporting safe, reliable operation of our manufacturing facility. You will plan and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance for mill equipment, coordinate technicians and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Partnering with operations, you'll reduce downtime, manage parts and maintenance records, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead, schedule, and mentor maintenance technicians in a manufacturing environment Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime Coordinate contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards Maintain CMMS records, work orders, and equipment histories Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies inventory Collaborate with operations to prioritize work and support production goals Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive root cause problem solving Implement continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency Support training and development of maintenance team members Required Skills Preventive maintenance planning Mechanical systems repair Electrical and PLC basics CMMS software Team supervision Safety program implementation Root cause analysis Budgeting and cost control Vendor and contractor coordination Technical documentation
