Primary Function Under general supervision, patrols assigned division laterals primarily on swing and graveyard shifts to minimize discharge; controls the distribution and flow of irrigation water; makes water changes for users in accordance with water orders; and records headgate settings and measurements on run slips. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school equivalent with supplemental courses in computer operations and records management and one year of experience involving customer service, knowledge of county roads, canal locations, computer operations, record keeping procedures, and working in local weather conditions. Licensing & Certification Requirements Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
