Buy-Back Attendant- Longview, WA Waste Connections $23.05/hr-$23.05/hr life insurance, flexible benefit account, paid time off, short term disability, 401(k) United States, Washington, Longview Oct 09, 2026 Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a Buy Back Attendant to work out of our Waste Control facility in Longview, WA! Buy-Back attendants are trained and experienced in refineing recyclable materials into new products. By diverting significant waste from landfills, we empower individuals to reduce ecological impact and foster an eco-friendlier environment. The schedule will be Wednesday-Saturday from6:45am to 6:00pm. Rate of Pay will be $23.05/HR. This is a great opportunity for full-time, year-round work! We offer family benefits, 401k with a match and paid vacation. In this position you will be working independently. You will beinteracting with the public, computer work, and handling labor-intensive tasks on-site. Must have excellent customer service, as well as the ability to stand and do physically demanding work throughout an 8+ hour shift.

Responsibilities:

Greet and direct Customers who come into the Buy-Back Center

Calculating Tickets for customers items being purchased through the Buy-Back Center

Entering Purchase information from customers into computer system

Ensuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Data entry as needed

Providing general upkeep of the Buy Back Center

Heavy lifting of Items 50-65Lbs

Learn to operate forklift

Requirements:

Great In Person Customer service skills

General Computer Knowledge

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift

Ability to lift up to 50-65lbs pounds
