Job Overview Join a well-established sign company as an Entry Level Install/Fabrication Technician and kick-start your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment! This hands-on role offers the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in sign installation, fabrication, and maintenance. You'll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality signage solutions, gaining valuable experience working with various tools, equipment, and technical drawings. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in the signage industry while contributing to exciting projects. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of signs on-site, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting according to specifications Support fabrication processes by cutting, assembling, and finishing signage components using hand tools and power equipment Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to accurately execute fabrication tasks Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and machinery used in fabrication and installation Use electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components within signage systems Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of installation and fabrication Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power equipment Willingness to learn electrical diagnostics techniques, including using an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions accurately Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail Experience or interest in heavy equipment mechanics or maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) is a plus Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Prior experience with technical proficiency or related fields is advantageous but not required; training will be provided This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills in sign installation and fabrication within a supportive environment. This is a part time position to start with the opportunity to move to full time with a full benefit package.
