Maintenance Staff Morning Shift Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Staff member to join our team for the morning shift. This role involves supporting maintenance operations, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of industrial work sites, and assisting with various manual tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment exposed to the elements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on support and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Assist mechanics with maintenance tasks and serve as a tool runner to ensure efficient workflow. Clean, organize, and prepare industrial work sites to maintain a safe and functional environment. Perform hot work activities such as welding and torch cutting as required, with no prior experience necessary—training will be provided. Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including wearing mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during shifts. Conduct routine cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Support manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, in accordance with safety guidelines. Follow all safety procedures diligently, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting exposed to outdoor elements. Physical strength and stamina for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Good understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively with team members.
