Temp-to-hire Position Overview Our client in Newark, DE is seeking a dependable and hardworking Installation Technician to join their production team. This role involves assisting with the movement and handling of rubber conveyor belts throughout the shop environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing manual labor, comfortable working in an industrial setting, and able to accurately read measurements and perform basic math calculations. Candidates with mechanical aptitude and trade or technical school experience are encouraged to apply. Job Duties Move and transport rubber conveyor belts throughout the shop. Lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 65 pounds. Assist with general shop labor and production support as needed. Install conveyor belt systems at client facilities. Measure materials using a ruler and verify dimensions accurately. Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and job tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. Valid Drivers License required Desired Skills & Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow directions and safety procedures. Mechanical aptitude preferred for candidates interested in future permanent employment opportunities. Technical school or trade school background is preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience is preferred.
