About the Role As a Senior Industrial Machinery Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the peak performance of our complex manufacturing assets. By leveraging your expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems, you will drive operational uptime and lead sophisticated troubleshooting efforts to optimize our production environment. Responsibilities Execute complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and specialized gear-cutting equipment. Drive equipment reliability by performing precision alignments, leveling, and calibration using advanced laser and ballbar systems. Maintain and upgrade electrical and electronic control systems, ensuring seamless integration of PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Lead facility-wide infrastructure maintenance, including HVAC, utility services, and structural repairs to support continuous operations. Interpret and modify intricate technical schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams to facilitate rapid troubleshooting and system improvements. Fabricate custom machine components and safety guarding using MIG/TIG welding and machining techniques. Manage technical documentation and work order lifecycles within our maintenance management system to ensure accurate asset history. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mentor junior staff and implement 6S initiatives for a safer, more efficient workspace. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens, or Haas. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Demonstrated ability to perform complex analytical troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and metal fabrication. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work comfortably at heights. Preferred Skills Valid Electrician License or equivalent certification. Experience with Renishaw probing and advanced diagnostic instrumentation. Prior experience in a high-precision manufacturing or machine tool environment. Familiarity with gear-cutting machinery such as Fellows, Liebherr, or Pfauter units.
