Job Summary:

Responsible for participating in the manufacture of new extrusion machines and in the refurbishment (rebuilding) of old extrusion machines used in the Plastic Industry. Responsible for traveling to customers and performing preventative maintenance, repair, and installation.

Job Duties:

I. Perform field service work on Extrusion Equipment Perform preventative maintenance per machine manuals Perform startups and install parts and machinery Dismantle machines to gain access for troubleshooting and repair Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to diagnose and locate cause of malfunction Trouble shoot, repair, and maintain customer equipment Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic circuits Testing and troubleshooting of machines and equipment for proper function during production and being able to respond quickly Travel to customer locations with little notice Working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output II. Participate in the Manufacture New Machines Run electrical wires through machine to facilitate electrician's installation of electrical components. III. Participate in the Refurbishment (rebuilding) of old machines

Job Requirements:

I. Able to stand 8-10 hours a day, bend, and squat II. Minimum of 2 years of machine repair in a manufacturing environment III. Comfortable working with the demands of a fast-paced manufacturing environment IV. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a daily basis V. Able to operate a forklift, mobile crane, grinder, and metal working equipment VI. Valid Licensed driver - company vehicle VII. Basic computer skills VIII. Excellent communication skills IX. Able to travel 40% of the time within the U.S. and Internationally X. Able to read, write, and speak English fluently XI. Need to be 18 or older XII. Follow all safety and company policies and actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment while improving operation

Full-time Pay:

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
