Job Overview We are seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician to join our dedicated team at Conveyor Belt Service. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty conveyor belts and related equipment in manufacturing facilities, mining operations, and shipping environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, with a focus on industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service excellence. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced technical systems and contribute significantly to operational efficiency. This is a union position (after 120 days of hire) that does require periodic travel. Shift work is also required for this position. Customer site work may be performed indoors or outdoors in difficult conditions. Starting wages are based on experience and on a two-year apprenticeship program through the local Millwrights 1348. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor belt systems using schematics and technical specifications. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance. Fabricate rubber products Operate heavy-duty equipment Skills Experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments Ability to analyze and problem solve when diagnosing mechanical issues Strong commitment to customer service Ability to work in a team environment Class A Driver's License preferred, but not required Positive attitude when working in difficult conditions Required to pass a physical, drug test, and background check before employment.
