Job Description

Our client, a dairy and cheese manufacturing company in Perth Amboy, NJ, is looking for Class A Mechanics to perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic, and packaging systems within their climate - controlled /refrigerated manufacturing facility. Bilingual Spanish required. Starting at $37/hour, commensurate with experience 3 Shifts available: 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p or 11p-7a Sunday-Thursday, with the expectation that you will work overtime (some Fridays) at time and a half rate.
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish required At least 3 years experience as a Class A mechanic in the manufacturing/production industry Independently diagnoses and resolves complex and recurring equipment problems , including major repairs and system-level troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment Troubleshoot and maintain dairy processing, packaging, conveyor, and refrigeration-related equipment Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous-improvement projects - responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs Understanding of GMP's, Lock Out Tag Out, OSHA regulations, blueprints and specification documents Electrical repair and preventative maintenance experience crucial Experience working in cold/refrigerated production areas highly desired
Key Responsibilities:
Independently diagnoses and resolves complex and recurring equipment problems , including major repairs and system-level troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain dairy processing, packaging, conveyor, and refrigeration-related equipment. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous-improvement projects. Follow all OSHA, food safety, GMP, sanitation, and company maintenance procedures

From $37.00 per hour
