Field Technician
  • Entry Level Marion, OH Area $18.00
  • $20.00 per hour 1st Shift | Monday
  • Friday | 7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM Adecco is currently hiring Entry-Level Field Technicians for a growing industrial services company in the Marion, Ohio area!
If you enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors and indoors, and learning valuable industrial and construction skills, this could be the opportunity for you. What You'll Do As a Field Technician, you will assist with a variety of industrial service projects, working alongside experienced team members to support installation, maintenance, repair, and construction activities at customer job sites.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial systems, machinery, piping, and structural components. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Read and follow blueprints, job plans, and technical documents. Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all company safety procedures. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Identify and report potential safety concerns or jobsite hazards. Record jobsite activities, measurements, and material usage. Support project teams and adapt to changing project needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Prior industrial, construction, mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and drawings is a plus. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor. Comfortable working in industrial environments and various weather conditions. Work Environment Industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, construction sites, mills, and factories.
