  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Eligible for employment in the US
  • At least three ( 3 ) years of work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or
PIPEFITTING
  • Must be willing to meet the following requirements: o Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) o Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills o Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment o Undergo an job related health assessment as a condition of employment o Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment o Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule o Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification o Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis o Wear required safety equipment It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): • Associates degree or certification(s) in any of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or
PIPEFITTING
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or
PIPEFITTING
  • Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
The Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion Edit highlighted areas only . Non-applicable skills/experience can be removed but adding skills/experience is not permitted . Duties include, but are not limited to: Millwright
  • Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators and laser alignment equipment
  • Install machinery, new and existing equipment
  • Repair and lubricate machine and equipment
  • Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, lime kiln
  • Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters
  • Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues
  • Fabricate structural materials as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
