Machine Maintenance Specialist Saxonburg, PA 16056 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Daylight Category Maintenance and Repair Apply Description Machine Maintenance Specialist Penn United Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team full-time. In this critical role, you will help ensure our machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. If you have experience troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, working with precision equipment, and playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
As a Machine Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, and relocation of various equipment and systems throughout our facilities. Your expertise will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and supporting a safe, productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and facility systems, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on machinery, including CNC equipment Rebuild and repair motors, pumps, bearings, and other machine components Install, repair, rebuild, and relocate precision machining equipment Troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on machine components Connect wiring, hydraulic lines, and related components during equipment installation projects Set up and operate machines to verify conformance of machined parts to specifications Fabricate replacement or custom parts needed for equipment repairs Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices
Shift:
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
Qualifications What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of machining-equipment maintenance experience .
Strong working knowledge of:
Electronics PLCs Pneumatics Hydraulics Motors and bearings Three-phase electrical wiring Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance methods, tools, practices, and safety standards. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance , Mechatronics , or a related field. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for up to 9 hours per day Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment Why Join Penn United Technologies?
