PICO Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Compressor Mechanic to support our growing field operations in South Texas. We are looking for a hands-on mechanic with experience working on AJAX compressors and natural gas compression equipment who can perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose equipment problems, and complete field repairs safely and efficiently. Qualifications Hands-on experience servicing and repairing natural gas compressors . AJAX and/or Ariel compressor experience strongly preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment specifications . Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repairs. Ability to diagnose compressor and engine problems with limited supervision. Oilfield or natural gas compression experience preferred. Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work outdoors and in field conditions. Ability to work extended hours based on operational requirements. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements. Responsilities Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on AJAX, Ariel, and other natural gas compressors and engines. Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service AJAX compressor equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, equipment diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. Use technical documentation and equipment drawings to assist with troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and maintenance. Identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions. Perform equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they result in downtime. Replace, repair, install, and adjust mechanical components as required. Assist with compressor start-ups, shutdowns, and field troubleshooting. Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair documentation. Communicate equipment conditions, recommended repairs, and parts requirements to supervisors. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition. Follow PICO Technologies' HSE policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety procedures. Travel to field locations as operational needs require.
