We are searching for talented installation carpenter technicians to join our growing team. Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, want variety and challenges in your day, desire to learn specialty industrial carpentry and other new skills? Our installation technician opening is a hands-on professional role. As a team member, the team is responsible for setting up, configuring, and assist in installing large industrial, manufacturing and mechanical equipment at client sites. We also perform small industrial construction projects to meet client needs. This position will assist the Field Foreman whenever possible to stage for each job to create efficiency by ensuring job materials, tools and equipment are on site on time. Depending on our clients' industry, installation technicians handle a wide variety of specific duties.
Common core responsibilities include:
Site Preparation:
Industrial carpentry involving construction with metal studs, suspended ceilings, replacement of/or move windows, meet configuration requirements for the placement of new or existing large industrial equipment. Experience with lifts, power jacks and forklifts.
Setup and Assembly:
Using hand and power tools, rigging equipment, assemble, and physically mount manufacturing equipment (e.g.,packaging lines).
Documentation:
Daily timecards, OSHA safety requirements and company documentation. This role involves traveling to various industrial and manufacturing facilities in Northwestern Vermont to complete the client's requested scope of work. It requires a solid mechanical/technical aptitude, a desire to learn, strong customer service skills and reliable transportation.
Installation Technician Requirements:

Compensation:
Starting at $28.00 per hour and/or commensurate to experience
