This role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems, including CO₂ transcritical and cascade systems . We are looking for technicians who deliver high‑quality work, communicate clearly, and perform reliably in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain supermarket refrigeration systems Service rack systems, walk‑ins, reach‑ins, compressors, condensers, and controls Work with CO₂ refrigeration systems (trans-critical, booster, or cascade) Respond to emergency calls during on‑call rotation Perform routine maintenance and system checks Complete service documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and store personnel Follow EPA, safety, and company standards at all times Requirements 5+ years commercial or supermarket refrigeration experience CO₂ refrigeration experience strongly preferred EPA 608 Certification required Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work overtime and participate in on‑call rotation Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and professionally with customers Compensation & Benefits Overtime available On‑call rotation Company vehicle Health, dental, vision PTO provided on an accrual basis About Southland Mechanical Southland Mechanical provides high‑quality supermarket refrigeration service throughout Southern California.
