Competitive compensation based on experience Overtime opportunities available Company vehicle provided for field service work Hands-on work with industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, controls, and startup commissioning Exposure to advanced refrigeration technologies and troubleshooting applications Opportunities to expand technical expertise and develop specialized industry skills Consistent field-based work with a variety of customer sites and equipment Why You'll Love It Here Work alongside experienced professionals in the industrial refrigeration industry Take ownership of projects from diagnosis through completion Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and technical expertise Gain opportunities to learn new systems, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques Be part of a team that values accountability, reliability, and professional growth Work in an environment where problem-solving skills and initiative are recognized and appreciated Your New Role Respond to service calls and perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems Perform hot and cold compressor and motor alignments Repair and maintain reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors Conduct compressor rebuilds and shaft seal replacements Troubleshoot refrigeration systems using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic testing equipment Install expansion valves, control valves, and associated refrigeration components Use oxy-acetylene equipment to repair and install refrigeration equipment Install wiring and electrical connections for refrigeration and control systems Test refrigeration lines, components, and connections for leaks Perform commissioning and startup of ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems Troubleshoot computerized refrigeration controls, PLCs, microprocessors, and control panels Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service Gather project information and assist with customer proposals Complete work orders, timecards, and required documentation accurately and on time using SimPRO Maintain truck inventory, organization, and equipment readiness Generate purchase orders for truck stock and job-related materials Follow EPA regulations and maintain required certifications Work independently while coordinating effectively with customers, vendors, and team members Participate in overtime, on-call rotations, and flexible scheduling to meet customer needs
Hiring Expectations:

Trade school education or equivalent hands-on experience in refrigeration, HVACR, mechanical systems, or a related field Minimum of 2+ years of HVACR, commercial refrigeration, or related industry experience EPA 608 Certification required Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred but not required

Certification preferred but not required Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record Experience servicing industrial refrigeration systems and compressors preferred Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, synthetic refrigerants, refrigeration controls, PLCs, and microprocessors preferred Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration equipment Experience with compressor maintenance, rebuilds, and alignments Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call schedules Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in field environments with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditions TDI Refrigeration is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
