Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service for all types of trailers. Transport refrigeration is critical to the infrastructure and food quality as we know it. This job responsibilities include... Have and maintain drivers license. Our service trucks do not require a CDL Perform regular maintenance such as belts, filters and oil changes. Diagnose and repair issues related to the 2, 3 and 4 cylinder diesel engines used to power Transport Refrigeration Units. Perform diagnostics and repairs to refrigeration systems while following all laws of refrigerant handling set in forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. Ability to operate a computer to aid in diagnostics and data gathering. Ability to communicate needed repairs and work completed to service management. Can be on call and respond to emergency breakdown in a swift manner. While there are many components and procedures similar to other equipment; transport refrigeration units do require hands on training and guidance. Skills/experience listed below are not requirements to be hired. The list below however will make the training process easier and aid in higher hourly compensation. Full set of hand tools. Repairs to automotive HVAC systems including Class 8 Trucks. Engine work including exhaust manifolds, and head gaskets. Soldering/brazing experience on copper lines; rigid or soft. Oxyacetylene torch cutting. Welding experience MIG or SMAW 24 Hour on Call Experience Tools and full training would be provided to the right individual.
