Job Description

Refrigeration Equipment Assembler / Technician Located in
Adrian, MI Shift:
7am-3:30pm potential for overtime.
Pay:
$18.50/hr., Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, quality-driven Refrigeration Equipment Assembler / Technician to help build commercial and industrial freezer equipment. This hands-on position includes mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, installation of refrigeration components, and brazing Responsibilities Assemble freezer cabinets and refrigeration systems from drawings and written work instructions. Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, controls, doors, hardware, and other components. Perform basic electrical assembly, including mounting components, routing wires, and making connections according to drawings. Cut, fit, and braze copper refrigeration tubing; training will be provided as needed. Measure, drill, fasten, and fit components using common hand and power tools. Inspect completed work for proper fit, operation, and quality. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Assist with other shop and production activities as needed. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, and written instructions. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, or brazing experience is a plus, but not required. Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused work ethic. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license required for occasional local pickups using company vehicles.
