Position Summary:
Omar Coffee Company has an immediate opening for a full-time service technician to work on coffee equipment and espresso machines. This role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and transport of coffee equipment to and from customer sites. The ideal candidate must be self-sufficient exercise sound judgement, and be both customer service and team oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines at customer sites. Transport coffee equipment to and from customer locations. Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment issues. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment. Provide training to customers on the proper use and care of their coffee equipment. Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and equipment condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company service standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Self-motivated with sound judgment and decision-making skills. Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing principles. Technical skills for coffee and espresso equipment repair are a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Basic computer skills for maintaining service records. Physical capability to lift and transport heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Subject to a background check.
