Job Description
About the Role As a Precision CNC Technician, you will play a critical role in our production cycle by transforming raw materials into high-tolerance components. You will utilize your expertise in CNC milling and turning to ensure every part meets rigorous engineering standards while contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Configure and manage CNC lathes and milling centers to achieve optimal production output. Execute complex machining tasks to ensure all components align with precise blueprint specifications. Utilize GD&T standards to verify part integrity and meet demanding geometric requirements. Perform comprehensive quality inspections using advanced metrology tools like micrometers and calipers. Proactively troubleshoot equipment performance to minimize downtime and maintain consistent quality. Optimize machining processes to improve throughput and uphold high craftsmanship standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to support efficient production workflows. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in the setup and operation of CNC machinery. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical blueprints and drawings. Demonstrated ability to maintain tight tolerances, including precision within ±.0005". Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required by the role. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems. Advanced knowledge of CNC programming or editing at the machine control. Background in high-precision component manufacturing or aerospace machining.
