Conduct routine maintenance such as fluid changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignment adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Repair and replace components related to diesel engines, automotive engines, and powertrain systems with precision and efficiency. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical systems accurately. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely during mechanical repair tasks. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards while maintaining detailed service records. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a focus on automotive electrical systems and engine repair. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including the use of specialized diagnostic tools for electric vehicles. Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle systems integration, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation. Expertise in engine repair, powertrain maintenance, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance protocols. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
