This position involves the teardown, inspection, evaluation, repair, and reassembly of a variety of industrial equipment, including gearboxes, process pumps, hydraulic cylinders, and related machinery. Mechanical experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, aptitude for learning, and a genuine interest in industrial equipment and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble gearboxes, process pumps, hydraulic cylinders, and other rotating equipment. Evaluate component wear and determine repair or replacement requirements. Perform equipment testing and quality checks following repairs. Maintain accurate service and repair documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Assist with general shop operations and equipment maintenance. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in how mechanical systems operate. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Experience with industrial equipment repair is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn machining and fabrication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
