Position Summary As a Drains Service Technician, you'll be the person homeowners and business owners call when something's not working right. You'll show up ready to figure out the problem and take care of it, start to finish. Customer service is a big part of the job, not just the technical work, and how you treat people matters just as much as the fix itself. Key Responsibilities Perform drain cleaning services using cable machines, hydro-jetting, and other industry tools Diagnose and resolve issues like blockages, backups, and slow drains Provide upfront pricing and estimates, and get customer approval before starting work Document notes, photos, and parts used for each job Educate customers on preventive maintenance and proper drain care Work with dispatch, customer service, and other technicians to keep jobs on schedule Follow safety protocols, company policies, and local plumbing codes We Offer Weekly pay with incentives and bonuses 401(k) retirement with company match Holiday pay, vacation pay, & paid time off Company events & parties Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, & long and short-term disability insurance Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of plumbing-related training preferred Experience 1-3 years of experience in drain cleaning or plumbing service required Licenses/Certifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical Demands and Conditions Ability to work in confined spaces, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and operating heavy equipment Work Environment/Travel Field-based role requiring frequent travel to residential and commercial job sites May require evening, weekend, or on-call shifts Ability to pass background check and drug screening
