Job Description

Exclusion Technician — Pest Proof Pest Management Starting pay: $25/hour
Location:
Northern Virginia Pest Proof Pest Management is hiring an Exclusion Technician with a construction background. This is a hands-on repair position focused on finding and closing the openings that allow rodents, bats, and other wildlife into homes. What you'll do Repair and seal entry points at rooflines, soffits, siding, vents, foundations, doors, and other vulnerable areas. Install exclusion materials such as vent guards, ridge guards, flashing, mesh, and door sweeps. Work from inspection findings and job scopes to complete durable, neat repairs. Take clear photos and document completed work. Communicate with the team when you find additional damage, active animal activity, or work outside the original scope. Keep job sites clean and treat customers' homes with care. What we're looking for A construction background is required. Relevant skills include roofing, carpentry, drywall, and metal fabrication . Experience using hand and power tools, working on ladders, and performing roof-level work. The ability to identify how animals are getting into a structure and make repairs that address the entry point. Attention to detail and pride in finished work. Dependability, clear communication, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver's license. Wildlife or pest control experience is helpful, but strong construction and repair skills are the priority. We can teach the right person our exclusion methods.
