Regional Internet Service Provider is looking for a team member to join our Outside Plant Fiber team and be an Internet Installer with a minimum of 1-year experience doing a similar type of work. PocketiNet Communications is a high quality Internet Service Provider. We are growing and are searching for a professional self-motivated technician to join our installation team. The work will likely involve installation of both fixed wireless and fiber optic technologies. We are looking for applicants with previous telecommunications construction and installation experience. This opportunity would require the ability to work both with a team and independently. Most work will be in our regular service area which stretches from Walla Walla, WA to Yakima, WA. There may be times when we may request some overnights trips away from home. A company vehicle and tools will be provided by PocketiNet.

Responsibilities Be a part of our Outside Plant team installing overhead and underground fiber service. Serve as the first in person contact for customers seeking installation of PocketiNet Internet service. Determine the best installation plan-based access to our infrastructure and what works best for the customer. Install equipment in a professional manner that avoids damage to customer's home or business and avoids future service calls. Verify with customer that service is working properly and installed to their satisfaction. Complete all documentation regarding the install. Any other tasks or projects as requested. Requirements Proven experience as an installer or similar role. Understanding of building construction and ability to safely install internet equipment. Tech savvy with a working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote desktop control would be helpful. Office 365 Suite and Teams experience preferred. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues. Proficiency in English; Proficiency in Spanish a plus. Excellent communication skills. Customer-oriented and ability to diffuse difficult customers. Additional Requirements 40-hour week Monday - Friday. Shifts may vary between 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Occasional on-call coverage is available. Need to be based in or around Tri-Cities to Yakima area.
