Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Network Installer - III 2 days in office/week, depending on field requirements for outages and break-fix Position will involve a significant amount of driving in the field

Targeted Years of Experience:

5+ years

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the installation, monitoring, testing of telecommunications and associated transport equipment per specifications and operational procedures
Performs testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment according to published equipment standards to include Physical Layer and Logical Layer platforms
Maps, grow, and/or tests transmission equipment FlashWave, Nortel Classic, Digital Cross Connect, etc.
Map routers, bridges, multiplexers, concentrators, etc.
Create or perform migrations to new and existing Carriers such as PVC/EVC;s on Various routers; utilizes remote test systems to isolate and resolve continuity problems
Coordinates the test and turn up of service with all involved providers until the customer
s service is up and working Medical, Dental , and Vision Insurance is offered to qualified candidates.
