Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Small Engine Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of small engines and equipment. In this energetic role, you will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure optimal performance of engines used in lawnmowers, generators, power tools, and other machinery. Your expertise will keep equipment running smoothly, supporting both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair small engines, including carburetors, ignition systems, fuel systems, and electrical components Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and engine tune-ups Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs Conduct electrical diagnostics on engines and equipment to identify faults accurately Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems including lawnmower engines, power equipment, and other small engine needs Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to customers or team members Requirements Proven experience working as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a dealership environment with service technician experience Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine repair, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for various engine types Experience repairing diesel engines, generators, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is highly desirable but not required Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance devices Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients or team members Join us to leverage your mechanic experience in a environment where your skills directly impact operational success.
