Responsibilities :

Closely work with the service & parts department to order necessary parts and to complete each job in a timely efficient manner Repair and service units in a timely manner in accordance with flat rate times Performing thorough routine maintenance Properly inspect and report on unit estimates the first time Diagnosing mechanical problems and repairing machines Disassemble and repair of engines, carburetors, clutches, transmissions, etc. Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery Maintain an organized, tidy and clean work area Qualifications References required Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Ability to be on time everyday Experience in riding motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs Proficient mechanical aptitude and be willing to continue perfecting their skills Provide your own tools (we provide specialty tools required for some machines/jobs) Must have great time management skills and the ability to juggle several tasks simultaneously 2+ years of mechanic exp required 1 year of prior industry experience is preferred We are looking for a curious individual who enjoys challenging tasks and takes great satisfaction in finding a resolution. A strong predictor of success for a service tech with Zia Power Sports is the ability to arrive to work at the scheduled time and work throughout the shift with great diligence while focusing on the tasks expedited through the service manager. Previous experience in mechanics required.
