Trillium Tower Development excels in a wide range of tower services, including tower construction and decommissioning, comprehensive gin pole work from small to large scale projects, installation and maintenance of microwave point-to-point systems, AM/FM broadcast services, TV broadcast systems, tower modifications and upgrades, guy wire inspections and replacements, plumb and tension, TIA tower inspections, site audits, and tower maintenance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise tower construction, maintenance, and repair activities on cell towers, ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications and safety regulations. Perform antenna tower climbing, high-angle rescue operations, and rigging to facilitate installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment. Conduct telecommunications testing including RF (radio frequency) testing for 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G networks to verify signal integrity and performance. Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment safely for cable routing, fiber splicing, and equipment installation at elevated heights. Implement OSHA safety standards and construction fall protection systems during all field activities to ensure team safety. Use hand tools, telecommunications testing equipment, and construction tools efficiently while following proper safety protocols. Coordinate cabling activities including fiber splicing, high voltage wiring, low voltage connections, and grounding procedures in accordance with federal construction safety regulations. Skills Extensive experience working as a cell tower technician with outdoor work experience in various weather conditions. Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, fiber splicing techniques, and telecommunication cabling practices. Proficiency in radio frequency (RF) testing for 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G networks to ensure optimal network performance. Skilled in tower climbing techniques with the ability to follow blueprint specifications accurately. Familiarity with telecommunication fall protection gear, construction fall protection systems, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to operate bucket trucks safely for elevated work tasks such as antenna installation or cable routing. Construction experience combined with knowledge of federal construction safety regulations related to telecommunications infrastructure.
