Job Description

Lineman Location:
Ebensburg, PA Payrate:
$25-35/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm (some overtime available) What's in it for you? This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be employed directly by the company from day one—no temporary or probationary period through WorkLink Staffing. Full benefit & retirement package available.
Vacation time:
Receive 1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 3 years & 3 weeks after 5 years. What will you be doing? We are seeking an experienced Fiber Communications Lineman to install, maintain, and repair fiber optic and telecommunications systems. This position involves both aerial and underground work and requires the ability to work safely at heights and outdoors. Install and maintain aerial and underground fiber optic systems. Place strand, lash cable and fiber, and perform basic pole transfers. Dig and install cable, conduit, and related infrastructure. Climb poles and work safely at various heights. Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, aerial equipment, and digger derricks. Troubleshoot overhead and underground systems. Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials. Follow all safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site. What are the Job Requirements? 3-5 years of experience in fiber optic, telecommunications, or utility line work preferred. Experience with aerial and underground telecommunications construction. Ability to climb poles and work safely at heights. Ability to operate or learn to operate aerial equipment, digger derricks, and excavation equipment. Strong understanding of job-site safety practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license & Must pass required drug testing. #IND123
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
