Reagor Springs, TX Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is seeking an experienced Lineman to join our team. This hands-on position performs construction and maintenance work on transmission lines and substations, including work on both energized and de-energized equipment. If you have strong linework experience, a commitment to safety, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a skilled team, we invite you to apply. What Youll Do Transmission Line & Substation Construction and Maintenance Replace poles, crossarms, and insulators and repair conductors on transmission lines.

Patrol transmission lines and inspect structures, gates, and rights-of-way, documenting conditions and needed repairs.

Perform switching and sectionalizing activities.

Install and connect transformers and other related electrical equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications for transmission line and substation work.

Identify hazards and help ensure safe work practices when crews are working on energized lines and equipment.

Assist with the installation of steel towers, substation equipment, and other transmission and substation construction and maintenance activities. Additional Responsibilities Clear and maintain rights-of-way as needed, including cutting and trimming trees and brush.

Climb and perform maintenance on radio and microwave towers.

Work safely with hazardous materials and assist with oil and chemical spill cleanup and proper disposal of contaminated materials.

Follow established safety procedures and maintain a strong commitment to safe work practices. What Youll Bring High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of three years of related experience, including at least two years of experience equivalent to an Apprentice Lineman.

Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with required endorsements.

Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in outdoor and utility environments.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Strong safety awareness and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew.

Availability - Must live within 30 minutes to the Reagor Springs, TX office for emergency responses and be willing to work overtime or travel on short notice. Why Join Brazos Electric?
