Part-time Job Description Summary The budgeted salary for this position is typically $1,000 per credit hour . This position is ineligible for health, dental, and life insurance benefits through Chicago State University. Duties:
Teaching introductory and upper level courses in jewelry and metalsmithing. Maintaining studio area, requesting requesting managing supplies and equipment, and following health/safety regulations and practices. Office hours of at least two hours per week. Required Education MFA in jewelry and metalsmithing or a related discipline. Candidate in the related discipline must demonstrate exceptional professional work to be considered. Ability to work with a diverse population of students
Ability to work collaboratively with the faculty members in all Art and Design disciplines
Ability to work with online programs such as Moodle
Professional work must reflect a high level of technical ability and an understanding of and an interest in historical and contemporary art and design issues Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience at a college level
Exhibition record or professional practice in the field
