S&D Saw & Tool Co., Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Hammer Smith . This is a hands-on position involving the preparation, forming, and hammering of saw blades and related components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing quality work. Responsibilities Hammer and form saw blades according to specifications. Inspect blades for quality, accuracy, and proper alignment. Use hand tools, measuring equipment, and shop equipment safely. Make precise adjustments to meet required specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established procedures and safety guidelines. Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Learn and develop additional skills as experience increases. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn specialized skills and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing hands-on work in a manufacturing environment. Previous machining, metalworking, saw repair, welding, or fabrication experience is helpful but not required .
