Compensation $22.50-$30.00 Part-time Opportunity We are seeking a skilled closet installer ready to grow into a leadership role. This is not an entry level or trainee position. This isn't just an installation job, it's a path. We're building our installation team and looking for a candidate who wants to start as an installer, master the craft, and step into leading a team. Requirements Ability to read and interpret installation schematics Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in closet installations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Consent to a background and drug check Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed Solid math and problem-solving skills, you'll need to think on your feet when a space doesn't match the plan A calm, compassionate approach to leading and teaching others Reside in or near Douglas or Arapahoe County Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field preferred Experience with custom closets, carpentry and cabinetry Responsibilities Installer Install custom closet systems in clients' homes or businesses according to design specifications Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the installation process Treat every client's home with the same respect and care you'd want in your own this is non-negotiable Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including the company van Coordinate with warehouse support to ensure materials and equipment are ready for each job Work at a pace that balances speed with precision we move efficiently, but never at the expense of quality Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Follow company policies and procedures related to installation and customer service Growth Path Installation Team Lead As you build experience and demonstrate readiness, this role has a clear track toward Installation Team Lead.
That transition includes:
Leading and teaching a team of installers, not just completing your own tasks Being the one who pivots and problem-solves when an installation hits an unforeseen challenge Building and maintaining relationships with the installation team that earn genuine respect — leadership here is earned, not assigned Taking ownership of job sites from start to finish, representing Up Closets' standards to the client and to the team Schedule This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time. The need for our team lead is generally on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays , based on our sales-to-installation schedule. Pay $22.50-30/hour, based on experience and role progression: $22.50/hour during onboarding and training Up to $30/hour upon successful transition into the Installation Team Lead role, within a reasonable timeframe Plus 10% commission on the sale of any customers you refer to us.
