Overview Join our dynamic team at Z Stairs & Metal Designers, LLC , where craftsmanship meets creativity! As an Installation Helper , you'll play a vital role in transforming spaces and bringing custom metal projects to life. In this hands-on position, you'll assist our installers with the preparation, transport, and installation of metal stairs, railings, gates, and other architectural designs. Every day is different — from helping pack and organize materials to assisting with on-site installations that showcase true craftsmanship and design. Applicants must be bilingual (English and Spanish) to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. What you'll do Assist installers in executing precise installations of custom metalwork, including stairs, railings, and other architectural pieces. Help load and unload tools, materials, and components into company vehicles. Keep work trucks clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies. Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Support fabrication and assembly tasks as needed in the shop or on job sites. Follow blueprints, plans, and supervisor instructions to ensure accuracy in installations. Perform lifting, measuring, caulking, and finishing work as required. Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and meet deadlines. Always maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism. Basic qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) . Experience or familiarity with construction, metalwork, or a related field preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to and from the shop. Preferred qualifications Experience with metal fabrication, welding, or stair/railing installation. Familiarity with reading blueprints or installation drawings. Basic knowledge of carpentry, caulking, or trim work. Experience with metal framing, finishing, or light painting.
