In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom cabinetry, trim, doors, siding, and other woodwork in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and precision. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations. Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom woodwork using hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking. Install doors, trim, siding, drywall, stucco, and other wood construction materials with accuracy and care. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and ensure timely completion within budget parameters. Operate woodworking machines safely to shape and prepare materials for installation. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, rebar installation, or water damage restoration projects. Conduct quality checks on installed fixtures and woodwork to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and site safety standards. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation meets specifications and expectations. Assist with remodeling projects, mold remediation efforts, or restoration industry tasks as needed. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or custom woodworking installations. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints accurately. Hands-on experience with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns; woodworking machines; and drywall or stucco application equipment. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project planning. Knowledge of construction site safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting. Background in related fields such as remodeling, fixture installation (doors, cabinets), siding application or tile laying is highly desirable. Industry experience in restoration or water damage remediation adds valuable insight into specialized projects.
