Job Description

Cabinet Shop | Full-Time We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Finishing/Stain Technician to join our cabinet shop. This position is responsible for staining, finishing, and preparing custom cabinetry for delivery. The right person takes pride in quality workmanship, has a good eye for detail, and works well in a production environment. Responsibilities Stain and finish cabinet doors, drawer fronts, cabinet parts, and other wood components. Prepare wood surfaces for staining and finishing, including sanding and cleaning. Apply stains, sealers, and topcoats according to shop specifications. Match stain colors and maintain consistency from piece to piece. Inspect finished products for color, coverage, defects, and overall quality. Sand between coats and perform touch-ups as needed. Keep the finishing area clean, organized, and safe. Properly clean and maintain spray equipment and other finishing tools. Follow safety procedures and proper handling of finishing materials. Work with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience with staining, painting, or wood finishing is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Experience in a cabinet shop, woodworking, furniture, or manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Ability to recognize differences in color, sheen, and finish quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move cabinet components and materials as needed. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and follow established processes.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
