Full Job Description Summary/Objective:
Czar Inc is searching for a Master Cabinet Maker to oversee the creation of Cabinetry from start to finish. An outstanding Master Cabinet Maker will suggest additions to our catalog and improvements to workflow, with the ultimate goal of facilitating our company's growth. Czar Inc is a family-owned company that offers a friendly and caring work environment/ Our goal is to produce innovative, high quality millwork in any capacity and deliver exceptional customer service from design through installation.
Responsibilities:
Selecting appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task Cutting resources down to size as needed Planning effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product Inspecting each completed item to ensure that is has been constructed accurately, and the necessary finishes have been applied Proficient with all shop equipment and practices: table saws, panel saws, routers, laminating, etc.. Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and diagrams Communicate with other departments clearly about project status when elements are completed/passed into next department Repairing elements of cabinets that have been sent in for servicing Advising on appropriate care of finished products as needed Wearing the requisite uniform and taking necessary precautions to remain safe. •Steel-toed boots are required•Must understand the importance of maintaining a safe work environment by cleaning shop and disposing of old materials, such as nails and screws.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Master Cabinet Maker, with a portfolio of completed work The ability to visualize spaces and create appropriate furniture Excellent arithmetic skills Excellent team player with strong work ethics Attention to detail Strong record of reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50lbs. Valid Driver's License a plus English written, reading, spoken Must follow safety, health, and hygiene protocols per DOH, OSHA, CDC, etc…
