Ashland City, TN 37015 (Required) Mesa is seeking our next skilled and driventeam member! Based in Ashland City, we specialize in custom millwork and furniture for commercial spaces in Nashville, TN. Mesa is a young, growing company with a passion for the highly creative finish work in the growing city we love. ‍ Job Role This posting is for a senior level bench carpenter who is capable of autonomously building millwork projects from drawing sets. From casework, bent laminations, table tops, banquette internals and large scale wall paneling installations, you will be responsible for taking on portions of projects from start to finish. All aspects of drawings and finish are handled by other departments, though any level of finish experience is a plus. This position works on the main floor in tandem with five other bench carpenters and reports directly to the millwork foreman. ‍ Responsibilities Assists and/or leads in the building of cabinetry, furniture, and millwork Primarily a bench carpenter tasked with milling, assembling, completing cut lists, sanding, and assisting with installs Reports to Mesa's Shop Foreman Ensures deadlines are met without compromising quality Works off of shop drawings with the direction of the shop foreman or lead Required to maintain a clean and efficient work environment ‍ Qualifications & Preferred Skills Has 4+ years working in a professional wood shop Understands all aspects of hardwood and plywood construction Attentive to detail, organization, and efficiency Willing to learn new processes and take direction Hardworking and fun-loving Flexible - willingness to work in multiple mediums as the company needs Capable and willing of occasional overtime requests ‍

Pay & Benefits Pay:

$25-35 hourly, based on experience Profit Sharing Quarterly Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 days per year, after one year

Work Schedule Full-time, M-T:

7:00am-4:30pm.
