Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Maker and bring craftsmanship to life through precise woodworking and custom cabinetry projects. In this role, you will transform construction plans and technical drawings into beautifully crafted cabinets, furniture, and wood fixtures. Your expertise will contribute to residential remodeling, restoration projects, and custom fabrication, ensuring each piece meets high standards of quality and durability. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate cabinets and wood fixtures. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components. Measure and mark materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment during fabrication and installation. Assemble cabinetry and furniture pieces with attention to detail, ensuring smooth joints and secure fittings. Install finished cabinets, doors, trim, siding, flooring, tile work, and other wood fixtures on-site with precision. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to meet safety standards and client specifications. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow on construction sites or workshop environments. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, or woodworking with a focus on residential projects. Strong knowledge of construction plans, technical drawings, and interpreting detailed specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills; power tools for woodworking including sanders, routers; and woodworking machines like table saws or CNC routers. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols related to power tools and heavy lifting. Experience with various wood construction materials including plywood, MDF, hardwoods; knowledge of drywall installation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication or installation tasks. Skills in fixture installation such as doors, moldings, trim carpentry; experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous. Knowledge of metal stud framing, rebar installation (for certain restoration projects), plastering or stucco work is a bonus.
