Overview We are seeking a skilled cabinet finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet finish work (paint/stain), and experience using an air-assisted airless spray gun pump system. This role requires attention to detail, reading job elevations and notes, a commitment to quality control, and proficiency in using air-assisted airless spray guns. Responsibilities Quality check the finish prep job of the cabinetry, pointing out any defects found and fixing as necessary. Apply primer as needed. Apply sealers and top coats using spray equipment. Apply stain on respective cabinetry. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Utilize equipment effectively for various tasks related to painting, staining, and scuff sanding. Clean up work area and maintain equipment. Read and interpret paperwork to understand project requirements and specifications. Assist in timeline estimating for upcoming projects to provide accurate timeframes and material needs. Ex. How long it will take to paint 10 cabinets and 2 sticks of molding and how many gallons of paint will we need for it? Requirements At least 18 yrs old. Ability to commute to Riceville, TN. In shop availability Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Experience in cabinet finishing is preferred. Experience in cabinet spray gun painting or a related field is essential. Familiarity with air-assisted airless spray guns is preferred. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of timeline estimating processes is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Cleanliness is required. Organizational skills are required. Willing to learn and adjust to company procedure.
