Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately install cabinets, fixtures, drywall, tile, and other building materials. Measure dimensional specifications precisely using tape measures and other hand tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to cut, shape, and install cabinetry, doors, flooring, and tile masonry. Follow safety protocols on construction sites including proper ladder use and handling of heavy or sharp tools. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure installation meets design specifications and quality standards. Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to blueprint specifications and building codes. Complete installation tasks such as caulking, fixture mounting, gutter installation, framing, door hanging, flooring installation, plastering, fabrication of custom pieces, drywall finishing, and remodeling work. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong background in carpentry, framing, or remodeling projects. Familiarity with construction management principles including estimating costs and managing timelines. Hands-on experience with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, and fixture installation enhances your versatility on the job. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and following detailed blueprints accurately. Experience working with various building materials including drywall, tile masonry materials, plastering compounds, gutters, cabinetry components, flooring materials, and fixtures. Proficiency with hand tools such as tape measures, saws, drills; power tools including sanders or tile cutters is preferred. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely for custom fitting cabinetry or fixtures. Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during remodeling or renovation projects.
